I’ve been noticing of late that many of my friends depend on Facebook for their photo sharing. Is this just because of ease of use or is there something great about using Facebook?

Personally I’ve been using Flickr for several years now and I love it. Great interface and easy to browse, plus lets face it tags rock.

Recently I’ve been checking out Snapfoo, which is a mobile photo sharing site. Post pictures from your phone via MMS or send them via e-mail. Pretty handy, same idea as flickr moblog’s or several other services. Snapfoo is still in beta but it seems promising. One of my favorite features is the ability to have it automatically cross post to several different services and social networks. Already much cooler then Twitxr, which is a photo sharing site that posts to both flickr and twitter when you send a picture to it, basicly connecting the two and your mobile phone.

So where am I going with all of this? Well I guess what I am trying to say is that I am hopping someone will put together a photo site that works across many platforms and services and networks so that I can just post my photos and have everyone able to view them and have them be announced wherever I choose. It would also be cool if someone could come up with a way to actually have photos submitted through true MMS instead of using email, the same way twitter uses a SMS shortcode, use one for MMS.
