  • New project Decided on last night.

So Robyn’s dad is starting to do some more things online. Online learning, networking for speaking gigs, etc. so I am designing a website for him. Domain was registered last night, hosting was set up as well. Did everything through GoDaddy using a promo code to save some bucks.

So the first version of the site is a garage sale listing he wants to be able to edit himself, meaning user friendly interface, and upload pictures, fill out a few descriptive fields, publish. Have it then displaying these entries on the site divided up by catagories and all snazzy and simple.

I’m thinking I should be able to do it with wordpress, as wordpress can do most of those things, the only thing I am afraid of is the UI of WP, because I dont need all the extra options for pages or posts. I guess I could write my own application but that would take alot longer.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

Bad news, the other project is on the back burner till this is done. Good news, only about 5 people know about the other project so nobody is going to miss it.
